Personal StatementNaomi Wilbur is the 2021-2022 ASB President at Ripon High. Her job is to serve as an advocate for the whole student body, and set a good example for those around her in hopes that people will follow. As ASB President, Naomi will oversee and delegate almost all events created by Ripon High Leadership. She is so excited and honored to be ASB President because after being in leadership for the past 4 years at Ripon High she has seen how ASB Presidents should lead, and she hopes to be the best leader for the student body. Naomi is also the President of Girls League and Vice President of Multicultural Appreciation Club. Right now her favorite classes are AP Government and AP Spanish. Along with being involved at school, Naomi is also very active at her dance studio. She dances at 5678 Dance studio where she has been for 15 years. She has also been on the competition team there for 10 years. Naomi is a Junior Instructor at the studio; she teaches dancers from the ages of 5 years old to 15 years old. Naomi loves spending time at the studio with her best friends and the teachers she has grown up with. After high school she hopes to attend college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and wants to major in City & Regional Planning. Another goal she has in life is to be a Radio City Rockette because she has dreamed of being one of those dancers since she was younger. As Naomi is currently in her senior year, she hopes to make as many memories with her friends as possible throughout the year. It’s a humbling feeling for her to grow up and go to school with the same people since preschool; she hopes that all seniors this year realize how much we should appreciate each other right now because it will come soon enough where we may never see each other again.
